If you saved the 16 character authentication key you received when the 2FA was set up, you’ll be able to revive the existing 2FA on the new device. Simply open the authenticator app and manually enter the 16 character authentication key to reinstall the 2FA codes in the new device.
If you did not save the authentication key, Liquid MarketPlace will have to reset your codes on the back end servers. However, our support team will have to verify some account information before resetting the codes.
We’ll require the following:
- Email associated with your Liquid MarketPlace account.
- Full details of the latest deposit or withdrawal or trade.
- Photo of you holding a valid ID and a handwritten note that says, “Liquid MarketPlace ID verification for 2FA reset” along with your name, signature and date.
- The reason for resetting the 2FA codes.
